Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: F4/F5 Surf / Sea State: small chop then lumpy Air Temperature: 23 Sea Temperature: 16 Weather: sun Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Yesterday strong. local wind grew around quarry until 1pm but I was
watching Red Arrows in llandudno (nice cycle there and back). Hoping for
same again went out 10 in good wind which quickly died off. Waited 10 mins
and it was back then had good hour and half until sea got bit lumpy. most
out side gybes came off but dropped a few inshore which was a pity as good
accelration and flattish water but waves were close together and I dod not
bank aggresively enough. You could tune the wind strength by how clost to
quarry you went in local wind effect giving much more than forecast. Wind
band ran out about a mile and half out, which was enough. Gave up as sea
lumpier but OK, and I have appointment this afternoon.
